Attraverso documenti, fotografie e materiali multimediali, l'itinerario espositivo permette di ripercorrere i passaggi istituzionali che, a partire dalla liberazione di Roma, portarono al voto del 2 giugno 1946 e alla scrittura della nostra Costituzione.
La mostra sarà aperta al pubblico dal 7 maggio al 30 dicembre 2026.
L'accesso a Palazzo Montecitorio ha luogo mediante un sistema di predeterminazione degli orari di ingresso per i vari gruppi e del numero di visitatori per ciascun gruppo. Tale sistema prevede l'emissione di biglietti gratuiti per la visita: fino a 10 biglietti se la prenotazione è effettuata da un adulto, mentre se è un minore a prenotare, il sistema emetterà un solo biglietto.
- La prima è l'autenticazione tramite indirizzo e-mail: selezionato il giorno e l'orario di visita desiderato, si apre una maschera nella quale devono essere inseriti i propri dati; all'indirizzo di posta elettronica indicato verrà recapitata una e-mail con un link da cliccare per proseguire e portare a buon fine la procedura di prenotazione, che deve essere completata al massimo entro dieci minuti.
Il solo inserimento dei dati per l'autenticazione al sito non equivale alla prenotazione dei biglietti. - La seconda fase prevede la richiesta del numero di biglietti e l'inserimento dei dati di ciascun partecipante. Inseriti i dati e selezionato il tasto RICHIEDI, la prenotazione diventa effettiva e l'utente riceverà, alla casella di posta indicata, un allegato contenente i biglietti in formato pdf.
È possibile prenotare solo per i giorni e gli orari di visita che registrino ancora posti disponibili. La prenotazione online può essere effettuata sino a mezz'ora prima dell'inizio della visita. I possessori dei biglietti sono tenuti a presentarsi all'ingresso della Camera di Piazza Montecitorio dieci minuti prima dell'orario indicato, muniti di un documento di riconoscimento in corso di validità. Qualora i dati anagrafici dei nominativi, indicati al momento della prenotazione, non coincidano con i dati risultanti dai documenti, non sarà consentito l'accesso. Analogamente non sarà consentito l'accesso in orario diverso da quello della prenotazione; pertanto si raccomanda la massima puntualità.
I partecipanti dovranno attenersi strettamente alle istruzioni che saranno fornite loro dagli assistenti parlamentari.

As part of the commemorative initiatives promoted by the Chamber of Deputies on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the election of the Constituent Assembly, the exhibition “1946: The Birth of the Republic. The Constituent Assembly at Montecitorio” is open to visitors at Palazzo Montecitorio.
Through documents, photographs, and multimedia materials, the exhibition itinerary retraces the institutional steps that, starting from the liberation of Rome, led to the vote of 2 June 1946 and to the drafting of the Italian Constitution.
The exhibition will be open to the public from 7 May to 30 December 2026.
Access to Palazzo Montecitorio is regulated by a system that determines in advance the entry times for visiting groups and the number of visitors per group. This system provides for the issuance of free admission tickets for the visit: up to 10 tickets if the booking is made by an adult; if the booking is made by a minor, the system will issue a single ticket only.
The booking procedure consists of two distinct phases:
Phase one is authentication via email address: after selecting the desired date and time of the visit, a form opens in which personal details must be entered. An email containing a link to be clicked in order to continue and successfully complete the booking procedure will be sent to the indicated email address. The procedure must be completed within a maximum of ten minutes.
Merely entering personal details for website authentication does not constitute a ticket reservation.Phase two involves requesting the number of tickets and entering the details of each participant. Once the information has been entered and the REQUEST button selected, the booking becomes effective and the user will receive, at the indicated email address, an attachment containing the tickets in PDF format.
Ticket booking is successfully completed only after both phases of the procedure have been finalized.
Tickets must be shown at the entrance together with a valid identity document for each participant.
Bookings can only be made for dates and times in which available places remain. Online booking is available up to thirty minutes before the start of the visit. Ticket holders are required to present themselves at the entrance of the Chamber of Deputies in Piazza Montecitorio ten minutes before the scheduled time, carrying a valid identity document. If the personal details provided at the time of booking do not match those shown on the identity documents, access will not be granted. Likewise, access will not be permitted at a time different from that booked; therefore, punctuality is strongly recommended.
Participants must strictly comply with the instructions provided by parliamentary staff.
