The next "Open Door day at Montecitorio" will take
place on Friday, 2nd of June 2023. The marching band of the Marina Militare will open the event and it will perform at 4.00 p.m. in Piazza Montecitorio.
Inside the Palace, participants can visit the exhibition
"A testa alta", set up to commemorate the Magistrates Giovanni
Falcone and Paolo Borsellino, the politician Pio La Torre and the General Carlo
Alberto Dalla Chiesa.
Access to Palazzo Montecitorio takes place at set times for
each group. This system includes the issuing of free tickets for the visit,
which must be reserved using the boxes below: adults can reserve up to 4
tickets at a time, but in the case of minors the system will only issue 1
ticket. The data entry procedure must be completed within 10 minutes. After
selecting the desired time, a page will open for entering personal data. An
email will be sent to the address indicated with a link that must be clicked on
to continue the reservation procedure. Once the participants' personal data has
been entered and the REQUEST option has been selected, the ticket request will
be processed. The user will receive an email containing the tickets that must
be shown at the entrance together with a valid identification document for each
participant.
Online reservations can only be made for visiting hours with
available places, up to 30 minutes before the time selected. Ticket holders are
required to arrive at the entrance of Piazza Montecitorio ten minutes before
the time indicated on their tickets with a valid identity card. Access won't be
allowed if personal details on the identity card are different from those given
at the time of reservation. As well, access won’t be allowed in a different
time to the one selected during the reservation procedure, so maximum
punctuality is kindly requested.
